| Pulborough is
home to West Sussex Golf Club. It is an exceptional
home. Most holes are visually stunning, with clear
definition from skilful use of heather and sand,
natural placement of fairway and green and views
to Sussex countryside. It is a lasting testament
to its designers and to the meticulous care with
which it is still tended. Regularly judged one of
the outstanding inland courses in Britain, it tests
the best players but is short enough to give the
less proficient equal enjoyment. West Sussex is
a private club but visitors and societies by arrangement
are made most welcome. |
